The Future of 3D-printing Weekly Report w. 47

What we have done
For the previous week we had divided workshares to write about the technical aspects and future trends/development within these technical aspects as a foundation of literature and support to be able to write a convincing report. This week we held one meeting (20/11), we started by adjusting the structure of the report to make sure it have a good flow. On the mid-crit presentation we held a too technical specific presentation and did not reveal our product until the very last minutes which wasn't optimal. We want to make sure this will not be the case again for either the final presentation or the book report. Therefore we wanted to be very thoro this time and spent a lot of time adjusting this. After this we divided the report into parts where everyone got assigned to write some parts each.

We also decided to build a prototype of an app with a mockup-tool and design an interface for the user collaboration system which will be used for the presentation and include some nice pictures with the report. Thereafter we started to discuss and plan for the presentation. One part in our presentation will be a video, which we discussed since it will take the most time to put together in the presentation. We discussed location where to record, and one member that is more familiar with movie production took on the responsibility to write the script.

We also made new pictures of SAV3D which we are very satisfied with.

Next week
For the next week, the most of the report will be written and we will make sure it aligns everyone's vision and maybe add something more if any more great ideas come to mind.

  1. Sounds like you have come a long way. It's good that you spend time on the final presentation as well as the report. The picture above looks really cool!
